I love my Classic Kitchen Aid mixer. I think it is a design icon, but keeping it on show means it needs wiping over every time I want to use it because it gathers dust and dirt.
Thirty minutes of hand-sewing (blanket stitches) and one Lakeland tea towel and I have a perfectly adequate Kitchen Aid cover.
Inexpensive. Washable. No pattern required.
OK, it’s never going to start a global trend, but I’m happy!
